Why does the Comfisan™ have a fixed cover?

Stitching the cover in place gives a neater, seamless finish and stands up better to daily van life, with no zip to fail. Just spot clean it and use a mattress protector to keep it fresh.

How long does a rolled mattress take to expand?

Allow anything from an hour to a few hours for it to open out fully.

Is it suitable for adjustable beds?

Yes. It bends with an adjustable or slatted base without losing the firm support underneath you.

How does Vasco® memory foam work?

It reacts to your body heat, softening and moulding to your shape so your weight spreads evenly and the pressure comes off your shoulders, hips and lower back — the spots that ache most after a day out of the van.

How good is the motion isolation?

Very good. The Vasco® foam soaks up movement rather than bouncing it across the bed, so a partner turning over or slipping out for an early start won't wake you — which counts for a lot on a van-width bed.

How long does a rolled mattress take to expand?

Around 2–4 hours to take shape; allow 24–48 hours for the foam to fully activate and reach its proper feel.

How does Laytec™ work?

It's a responsive comfort foam that recovers far quicker than memory foam, giving a springy, latex-like bounce back while still cushioning your pressure points.

What's the benefit of that springy feel?

You turn over and change position far more freely, and the bed feels lively rather than sluggish — handy on a snug van bed. The open-structured foam also tends not to trap heat the way dense memory foam does.

How long does a rolled mattress take to expand?

Allow 1–2 hours for it to open out, and 12–24 hours to reach its full feel and performance.
